Getting to travel to different states and talk to people on the ground made the TCF experience one not only about understanding policy but also the varied solutions that organizations used.
Project
During my time at TCF, I worked on current health policy issues, from insurance exchanges to the use of health navigators. My major project was helping gather information about community health workers and the way different organizations were using and funding them. By the end of my internship, I was able to write a manual for organizations thinking of using community health workers in their systems.
