The ideal place to work for serious, creative thinkers who wish to use their minds to improve the lives and life chances of people at home and abroad.
Project
During my summer with TCF, I conducted economic analysis of domestic policy issues, with a focus on inequality, welfare, immigration, and state fiscal policy. My work resulted in two issue briefs, an academic working paper, and a series of blog posts designed to make policy research accessible to a wider audience.
Reflection
“Working at TCF is like being an academic without the teaching requirements or the necessity of finding a publisher. TCF’s commitment to intellectual freedom and evidence-based research in the realm of progressive public policy makes it the ideal place to work for serious, creative thinkers who wish to use their minds to improve the lives and life chances of people at home and abroad.”
