I truly encourage anyone interested in performing their own research and working closely with others to take a shot at interning with TCF.

Project

I worked with Michael Hanna and Thanassi Cambanis researching Islamist governance and security sector reform in the Middle East. My own writing focused on national security and foreign policy. In addition, I covered gun control after Newtown and the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay. Though most of my work appeared on the Blog of the Century, some of my writing on Gitmo and on Bahrain was published in The Atlantic.

Reflection

“All of my colleagues at The Century Foundation were extremely knowledgeable and willing to offer their advice and suggestions on my career decisions. The events TCF offers are stimulating and the chance to work with TCF’s fellows should not be passed up. I truly encourage anyone interested in performing their own research and working closely with others to take a shot at interning with TCF.”
